Hall County Fair Tax News

February 8, 2007

If you are interested in joining the FairTax Speaker's Bureau, please let me know.  There's no cost but there are 2 requirements:  1)  you must be comfortable speaking in front of groups and answering questions 2) you must be an ardent proponent of the FairTax.  It's especially helpful, though not required, for you to detest the IRS.

There are many local civic groups and organizations that would be happy to become educated from a presentation about the FairTax.  It's a great way to contact people through grassroots.  Also, the more speakers we have trained in our area, the less we'll have to depend on having a traveling speaker from other parts of Georgia to help us.

The training consists of watching a DVD, participating in a mock Q & A (hopefully no one will really mock you!) and then filling out a questionnaire regarding availability and willingness to speak.

If enough interest is shown, there's a possibility we can attach the speaker's training to our FairTax seminar on March 3rd, 2007.  By the way, if you want to come to the FairTax pow wow, please RSVP to me so we can plan for seating.

We are in need of a larger facility for our FairTax Seminar, scheduled for March 3, 2007.  Our current space will hold 50 seated, and 50 standing, but we feel we need the potential to seat 75 - 100.  Any ideas??  The Civic Center and Ga. Mtn Ctr are already booked.  I have been told there's a 95% chance of John Linder coming and the possibility of some other names I'm sure you'd recognize.  Let me know ASAP.
