9th District Campaign Events Leading up to November 4th Elections

9th District Friends -

For those of you who do not know, Fannin County was the recipient of a REGIONAL Obama headquarters this election cycle. It has been active this year, and has given North Georgia Democrats (particularly in Fannin County) momentum. To counter this, a Republican Victory Rally has been scheduled for SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Click here to view invitation.

If you aren't doing phone banks or door-to-door in your HOME county (or working on a campaign that day), you are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend this HUGE event in downtown Blue Ridge NEXT weekend.

By the way, there are a couple of events that will occur BEFORE the master calendar for our final week comes out next Monday:

  1. Don't forget the rally in Gainesville Monday evening, October 27,
    in the Gainesville Civic Center      -- 5 - 7 p.m.     Click here to read more. . .

  2. Saturday's rally in Pickens County now, in addition to Sen. Chambliss, includes Sen. Isakson, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle and Commissioner Oxendine. Local folks in attendance include State Rep. Graves, State Sen. Pearson and Sole Commissioner Jones.
     The rally occurs Saturday, 10/25 from 9:30 til 10:30 am at Lee Newton Park
     
  3. Congressman Deal will also be Jasper to debate his Democratic opponent at Holy Family Episcopal Church at 9:30 am on Saturday.
     
  4. The Saxby Chambliss Bus Tour on the Cleveland Square on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 1:30 PM
     
  5. The Stephen Allison campaign (the only state house race in the 9th district with a Democratic incumbent) will be doing door-to-door in Blairsville the next two weekends (October 25 and November 1) - contact 706-897-5290

 

Fannin County has been targeted this year, and we need to show support if at all possible. I look forward to seeing you there! If you can't participate, could you forward this information or contact people in your community that might be able to drop by or participate in this event?
